Learn a new and effective way to eliminate pain, improve flexibility and to find balance in your practice! Module three of our Myofacial Release (MFR) and Yin Yoga workshop series would guide you deeper in exploring the interconnectivity of our extremities (legs and arms) with other parts of the body. We will discover how tension on your feet might cause you lower back pain. How we can improve shoulder flexibility with a simple tension release on the arms, and much more. This comprehensive self-care workshop is designed for Yoga practitioners and non-practitioners, as well as general fitness enthusiasts.
Module III covers:
• Fascial and Myofascial Theory
• Myofaschia Release (MFR) Theory
• Trigger Points
• Ball Therapy Techniques (roll and release) for Arms and Legs
• Yin Yoga Theory
• Yin Yoga Postures for Arms and Legs
• Sequencing MFR and Yin Yoga
• Functional and Energetic Anatomy of Arms and Legs
• Two hours of practice
Native Balinese, Eka, has been teaching Yoga and meditation locally and internationally for over 9 years. He is also an experienced Craniosacral therapist. He has a Masters Degree in Media from Ohio University and the prestigious Fulbright scholarship in his pocket. His passion for fascia studies, Yin Yoga, and anatomy led him to study with Paul Griley’s (the founder of Yin Yoga) senior assistants: Jo Phee and Joe Barnett, world-renowned fascia experts such as Robert Schleip, as well as Antonio Stecco which whom he studied human cadaver fascia dissection. His mission is to bridge the east and west though the arts of meditation and functional movements. In his free time Eka enjoys singing with his band, baking and pondering about branching out to stand up comedy.
